Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Might be Showcased at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo

Maruti’s recently teased the compact SUV which might be showcased at the upcoming 2016 Indian Auto Expo. Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has been spied on numerous occasions, making rounds on Indian streets.The and the road tests have revealed that Maruti has production-spec Brezzas in the lot, enabling the possibility of the compact SUV making an appearance at the IAE 2016, to be substantially more promising. Indian auto expo will be held from 5th to 9th of February 2016 in Greater Noida.

Maruti recently released the official sketch of the upcoming compact SUV and it has become official that Brezza will feature a floating roofline, rising beltline, upright hood, rounded rectangular wheel arches, high ground clearance,short overhangs, angular taillamps and Bi-­Xenon projectors. Also, the front fascia of the car will incorporate chrome garnish, which will be reminiscent to that seen in the S-Cross crossover.

Sharing his thoughts on Brezza’s aesthetics, the car’s designer said, “Balanced proportion supported by square wheel arches, short overhangs, high ground clearance and upright hood gives the vehicle a confident stance. The raising belt and rocker lines, and the roofline that slopes down gently towards the rear give the vehicle a dynamic posture.” “The body surfaces are natural and sculpted tastefully to create the right interplay of highlight and shadow. Instantly recognizable floating roof over the wraparound greenhouse adds to the visual drama, and makes the Brezza standout in the crowd,” he further added.

Under the hood, Brezza is expected to feature Maruti’s 1.2-liter and 1.4-liter petrol units, whereas the diesel duties might be undertaken by Maruti’s time-tested, Fiat-sourced 1.4-liter DDiS mill. Inside the cabin, we expect luxuries like Apple’s CarPlay and the Maruti’s 7­inch SmartPlay infotainment system. This will be Maruti’s next addition to the premium Nexa dealership lineup and will rival the likes of Ford's EcoSport, Mahindra TUV300 and others.
