Mercedes Benz CLA 45 AMG Launching tomorrow

The most affordable AMG from Mercedes-Benz is just a night way. The German manufacturer will launch India’s first “Compact Performance Sedan”-the CLA 45 AMG tomorrow at Buddh International Circuit. WIth this launch, the automaker will expand its performance vehicle line-up which comes with the AMG tag. In promoting CLA 45 AMG, Mercedes-Benz also launched a 360 degree communication campaign featuring company’s first ever India centric TV commercial.

The exterior of CLA 45 AMG features aerodynamic bumpers with carbon fiber bodywork. The car rides on 18-inch alloys wheels with 235/40R18 rubber. While inside the cabin, one can find carbon fiber-trimmed interior, AMG sports steering wheel and gear lever. Mercedes Benz CLA 45 AMG offers three driving modes, M- Momentary Mode, S - Sport Mode, and C – Controlled Efficiency mode.  The safety of the car is enhanced by Airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), ESP (Electronic stability control). While for the added comfort of the driver and passengers, the car is equipped with heated seats, rear park assist, touch screen, surround sound speakers, steering mounted controls and shift pedals.

Powered by world's most powerful 4 cylinder, 2.0-litre direct-injection turbocharged petrol engine, CLA 45 AMG develops a power of 355bhp and peak torque of 450Nm. With this powerful engine, the car is able to achieve 100kmph from standstill in mere 4.6 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. The engine is mated to a standard AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission.

The dealers have already started taking booking with an upfront payment of Rs 1lakh.  The car is expected to be priced around Rs 45 to 50 lakh, which still makes it the most affordable AMG in India. Currently the automaker  offers wide range of AMG cars such as C 63 AMG, E 63 AMG, SLK 55 AMG, GL 63 AMG and ML 63 AMG. For pricing and other details, stay tuned to our news Section.
