Mercedes Benz inaugurated new plant in Pune

Luxury car manufacturer  Mercedes Benz has inaugurated new manufacturing plant in Chakan, Pune. Plant of 100 acres and There will be a independent facility for both passenger as well as commercial vehicles. This is among the fastest developed manufacturing green field plant in India. Company took just took 13 months to complete this project. The project has been created to fulfill  Mercedes Benz's future expansion plans and to accommodate the future facility expansion.

Dr. Joachim Schmidt, Chairman of the Board, Mercedes Benz India said on the occasion, “A strong brand, committed employees, strong after-sales service network. A growing market, increasing demand and exciting products. These are the ingredients of  Mercedes Benz’ India story. And it all happens here at the new home of  Mercedes Benz in India.”
