Like Mercedes-Benz India promised at the time of launching the all new ML–350 in May, It is now all set to roll out the cheaper version of the M-Class, the ML-250 on October 10th. What has helped the vehicle to become cheaper is the fact that it houses a smaller engine; secondly the vehicle is assembled in India itself.
The ML-350 which was launched in May comes as CBU, which makes it so expensive to buy in India, it currently costs around Rs 57 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). So to make it an affordable luxury car, the company had promised to assemble the vehicle at its Chakan Facility where other popular cars including C-Class, E-Class and S-Class are assembled.
So proving its commitment right, Mercedes- Benz India is finally rolling out the ML 250 at an expected price of Rs 45-50 Lakh. The all new ML 250 CDI will carry the similar four-cylinder, 2.2-litre diesel mill, which is assembled by Force motors for the company and used in C-Class and E-Class. This will also help the new ML-250 enhance the fuel economy.
Stay tuned for more updates on the same. Cheers!
