As the Detroit Motor Show is approaching, automakers have started teasing their models to be showcased at the event. The luxury carmaker Mercedes-AMG has revealed a teaser video of its GLE 63 AMG which will be showcased on the event starting from 12th January, 2015. The automaker posted a few second video on its official Facebook page with a tagline “Here's a first glimpse of one of the highlights we'll present at #NAIAS next week. Stay tuned!”
Further, it is expected that the car will share its mechanical specification with Mercedes AMG GT to inhouse a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine which churns a max power of 462hp and 600 Nm of peak torque, same as that of AMG GT. The car lock horns with the likes of BMW X6 M.
Moreover, if the GLE 63 AMG follows the footsteps of AMG GT, it is also likely to get slightly powered S version which delivers an output of 510 hp and 650 Nm.
In the 2015 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) the automaker showcased a self-driving luxury sedan, F 015 Luxury in Motion. The F105 Luxury in Motion looks more like a lounge than a car from inside, elevating comfort and luxury to a new level. In order to make getting in and out of the car easier, the electrically powered seats also swing outwards by 30 degrees as soon as the doors are opened.
