Mercedes-Benz clocks best ever January sales

Running along with the growing Indian auto market, Mercedes-Benz India gas marked a continuing growth by flaunting great sales figure in the beginning of year 2011 as well. An admirable sale of 640 units has been recorded by the company for January 2011. The star car models behind this commendable success has been the Mercedes Benz C–Class by selling 265 units as against the 131units in last year, Mercedes Benz E-Class by selling 252 units as against the 245 units sales last year, Mercedes Benz S-Class by selling 46 units as against the 23 units sales last year and last but not the least SUV range which include Mercedes Benz M-Class, Mercedes Benz GL-Class and the Mercedes Benz R-Class by selling a total of 67 units as against only 3 units in same month of year 2010.

Addressing the proud announcement, Mr. Peter T Honegg who is the Managing Director & CEO of Mercedes-Benz India said that last year has been simply successful for the company. He said that the market growth reached striking 60% YOY basis last year where Mercedes-Benz India ran through commendable 80% growth. From the data he derived that the company's car models have been working tremendously well in the market and it is a joint contribution of both brand loyalty and also admiring response from the existing users in market which led to better sales.  

The company's celebrations does not end here a completion of 125 Years celebrations is also lined up with the company this year.
