Moto2GP: Shoya Tomizawa dies in Misano crash

In one of the worst ever mishaps in the racing history of Moto2GP, a great Japanese Moto2 rider, died after sustaining severe injuries. The incident took place when Shoya Tomizawa took a fall after colliding with Scott Redding and Alex de at a very high speed. The incident overshadowed the fourth consecutive victory of the Tony Elias in Moto2GP racing tournament at Misano. Tomizawa was taken to a hospital nearby where he was declared dead by the doctors at 14:20 local time, as stated by the officials. One more driver, De Angelis, severely injured in this incident is currently under treatment at the hospital.
Tomizawa was one of the most popular Moto2 racing drivers and the winner of the Moto2 race in Qatar. He was just nineteen years old. According to a statement released by the race directions, rider Shoya Tomizawa suffered a serious crash and subsequent cranial, thoracic and abdominal trauma. The statement also added that all the MotoGP family wants to express its deepest condolences to his family and friends.
Tony Elias' fourth consecutive victory was overshadowed today, by the death of a great Moto2 rider. Shoya Tomizawa died today after sustaining severe injuries during the Moto2 race at Misano. Tomizawa took a fall, and was hit at high speed by Scott Redding and Alex de Angelis. Tomizawa was taken to a nearby hospital, and was pronounced dead at 14:20 local time, according to Crash.net.
De Angelis was also taken to the hospital and is currently recieving treatment. Tomizawa has been in the Moto2 since the series started, and won the first ever Moto2 race in Qatar. He will be missed. The following statement has been released by Race Direction: On Sunday 5th September during the Moto2 race, rider Shoya Tomizawa aged 19 suffered a serious crash and subsequent cranial, thoracic and abdominal trauma.
Tomizawa was taken to the Hospital of Riccione for immediate treatment but succumbed to his injuries at 14.20. All the MotoGP family wants to express its deepest condolences to his family and friends.
