New 2013 Nissan Micra Spied in Pune

CarDekho has been regularly updating you on the facelift version of Nissan’s flagship hatchback Micra, which is the company’s global product. The Japanese auto-giant has recently unveiled the new Micra (Known as March in Thailand) in Thailand.  Our friends from Motorbash have spotted the new facelifted Nissan Micra hatchback in Pune during test mule. The spotted car is partly covered with black camouflage.

The internationally revealed Micra have received some good updates, which have further improved the overall appearance of the facelifted Micra. The car is now having the redesigned front fasica, making it look muscular and sportier. The new Micra front comes equipped with a new air dam, more aggressive front bumper, new grille and redesigned headlights. The rear side of the new Micra too gets a revised fascia, which now has a revised rear bumper, new tail lamps, and rear spoiler. However, the side profile of the new car looks similar to the current Micra.

We also expect that new Nissan Micra might come with a CVT automatic version to compete against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ritz AT, Honda Brio AT and other in the league. The 2013 Nissan Micra is likely to retain the existing 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre K9K turbo diesel engines. Yesterday, Nissan has launched the automatic version of its flagship sedan Sunny in India. The Sunny CVT is priced at Rs. 8.90 lakh and will compete against Ford Fiesta AT, Renault Scala AT and Honda City S AT.
