The expected launch of 2012 CR-V in India is slated for next year, however the car will be launched internationally by the end of this year.
The 2012 Honda CR-V review reveals that it will be much lighter than its elder sibling and will be more frugal. So we can say that it will be much faster than the existing model of Honda CR-V. New Honda CR-V is likely to get a diesel engine for the European markets, therefore the probability of the diesel engine being launched in India is also high. Due to the recent petrol hikes in the country chances are bright that the Indian car market will also get the new Honda CR-V with diesel engine. All the major brands in the country are now launching their cars in the diesel variants due to the same reason.
New Honda CR-V crossover is expected to come up with totally new features and interior design. The new Honda CR-V is likely to be more spacious as the company has given this car a “more accommodating” tag. This car is also expected to have a lower cargo area at the rear for the easy access.
Honda has also recently said that they are soon going to launch new Honda Jazz soon in the Indian car market, on the price band of Rs. 6 lakh. With the launch of these new cars in the markets there would be expectations that these two cars will increase the sales figure of the company and help them in securing a higher position in the Indian Auto Mobile market.
