The latest interior spy shots of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio confirm that it will get roof-mounted speakers. The speakers are mounted just beside the electric sunroof like in the XU700. This seems to be the top-end model, which will surely come with many more premium features.
Going by the earlier spy shots, the Scorpio might come loaded with a large touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a flat-bottom steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, connected car technology, wireless charging, traction control and multiple airbags.
The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio will borrow its powertrains from the new Thar, but in a slightly higher state of tune. The off-roader will get either a 150PS 2-litre turbo-petrol and 130PS 2.2-litre diesel engines. Transmission options on the Scorpio should include a 6-speed manual or an automatic unit. It will be available in 2WD and 4WD configurations, likely with both engine options.
