New Skoda Superb Revealed Officially; India Launch by 2013 end

Skoda has revealed the revised Superb saloon, which comes with changes both inside and out. The new Superb has a completely new exterior looks – features a new grille with logo, head and fog-lights, newly formulated bumper, front fenders and bonnet make it more aggressive and eye-catchy. The company has also fixed a bi-xenon headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights and the rear end also gets a redesigned tail lamps.
The interiors too gets some functional features which enhances the overall comfort. The car has now included a new four-spoke steering wheel, a revised gear lever, and one can electronically moved the front passenger seat from the rear. An automatic reverse parking system is also added, which helps the driver to park the vehicle in narrowest of parking areas.
The new 2014 Superb is expected to be launched with same engine choices – a 1.8L TSI petrol, a 2.0L TDI and a 3.6L V6 petrol engine. The petrol motor comes equipped with the option of a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission, while the other two engines likely to get a six-speed DSG only.
Skoda CEO Winfried Vahland said that “ The Skoda Superb is the pinnacle of our model line-up and proves its capability as a manufacturer. The present comprehensive facelift has made out top model even more attractive. He further added that “ The Skoda Superb offers comfort beyond the middle-class standard. This means lots of room excellent functionality, high comfort, top safety, great value for money and timeless elegance. We are always intent on offering out customers a little bit extra car”.
The exact launch date of the car is yet to be unveiled by the company, but we are expecting it to be launched by the end of 2013.
