Next Generation Hyundai i10 Spotted Again in India; Check Pictures

South Korean car maker, Hyundai has been reportedly working on the all new Hyundai i10 which will replace the existing i10. What makes the vehicle more desirable is the fact that it will now come in a diesel avatar and adorn a new design inspired from the company's patented Fluidic sculpture. It will be a new global vehicle to be launched in several markets including India, where the vehicle has been doing test runs for quite sometime now. And today a Team-BHPian Prabhanjan Tattar has posted some clear spy pictures of the car, which he caught on NH 4, about 50km from Chennai.

Ever since the launch of Hyundai i10, it has been one of the top sellers for the company in India, but things have started changing when the diesel hatches started taking the momentum. The biggest competitors against the i10 are Maruti Suzuki Ritz and Swift. Both the Ritz and Swift individually are selling double units than the i0, so to get things back on track, the company decided to put a diesel engine under the hood. Will it be a success or not, only time will tell this, but the car has created the hype already among the auto ferternity and enthusiasts.

If reports are to be believed, the 2014 Hyundai i10 is likely to be sold with a name new 'Brilliant' dropping the i10, which as a brand has earned much popularity. Expected to debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the new Hyundai i10 is expected to hit the Indian shores during the Diwali festive season. The new i10 will sport both the petrol and diesel engines, while the petrol will remain the same 1.2-litre Kappa2 engine, the diesel will be a new 1.1-litre diesel mill, which is company's smallest diesel unit. 

While inside the cabin, the all new i10 will have better quality interiors, however the interior has never been a problem with the i10. An entirely new platform has been used for the 2014 i10 and the all spied images suggest the car to have got lengthier and more in width, also the proportion of the car have got different and better compared to the existing model. The car will also have a larger front air dam, bigger grille, updated general lines, more sloping roof, new Fog lamps with LED stripe above making the front more contemporary and family like .
