Nissan, Datsun Cars To Be Pricier By Up to Rs 70,000 From January 2020

Meanwhile, Nissan is offering benefits of up to Rs 1.15 lakh for December 2019

  • Nissan and Datsun India have announced a price hike of five per cent on their entire product portfolio.

  • The price hike will range between Rs 14,000 and Rs 68,000 (Datsun redi-GO to Nissan Kicks).  

  • The price hike will be applicable from January 2020 across India.

  • However, if you buy any Nissan car this month, you can avail benefits of up to Rs 1.15 lakh in the form of corporate discounts, exchange bonus and cash cuts. 

  • The Japanese carmakers are also running the ‘Red Weekends’ campaign to offer a host of benefits.

Nissan-Datsun Rolls Out Free Service Campaign

NEW DELHI, India (December 11, 2019): Nissan India today announced a price hike of up to 5% across its models. The revised prices will be applicable across all available models for Nissan and Datsun, effective January 2020. 

Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd, said, “Nissan is committed to offer innovative and exciting products under the Nissan and Datsun brand with the best value proposition to its customers in India. In the current challenging market conditions, we are constrained to increase the price of all Nissan and Datsun models due to increased costs. The proposed price increase will be effective from January 2020.”

Nissan India recently rolled out ‘Red Weekends’ to offer a host of lucrative offers on Nissan and Datsun models. During the ‘Red Weekends’ on Nissan KICKS customers can avail attractive cash discounts up to Rs 40,000, exchange bonus up to Rs 40,000 and corporate discounts up to Rs 10,000.

‘Red Weekends’ also provide an opportunity to the first-time car buyers looking to upgrade from two-wheeler to a new Datsun redi-GO on an attractive upgrade without exchanging the two-wheeler. Datsun GO and GO+ with Nissan’s proven automatic transmission technology – CVT also come in with attractive offers including exchange bonus presenting the best value proposition to the customers in the segment. During the ‘Red Weekends’, buyers can also win attractive gifts ranging from instant gift vouchers amounting to Rs 1 Crore across Nissan and Datsun models.

Nissan KICKS - The Intelligent SUV is available in four diesel variants, XE, XL, XV and XV Premium, ranging from INR 9.89 lakh to INR 13.69 lakh. The KICKS is also available in two dynamic petrol variants – XL at INR 9.55 lakh and the XV at INR 10.95 lakh. 

Enhancing the convenience quotient, the CVT version of Datsun GO and GO+ was introduced recently at an attractive introductory price of INR 5.94 Lakh and INR 6.58 Lakh respectively. These are the first models offer the most affordable automatic offering in their respective segments.
