The Japanese car giant Nissan is spreading its wings in India with its brand new Part Distribution Centre (PDC), dedicated to the north Indian region. The unit is spread over an area of 9,050 sq. meters and is situated in Luhari, Haryana. The facility will enhance the customer experience as the part delivery will now be smooth and faster than before.
Speaking about this brand new facility, Mr Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd (NMIPL) said, “Our new Regional Parts Distribution Centre significantly strengthens our after sales operations in north India. We believe strongly that after sales service is the key to customer satisfaction and the punctual, quick and efficient delivery of parts is an important contributor to this. The new facility will allow faster and more frequent deliveries, increasing the convenience for our end users.”
The PDC incorporates a new multi-depot software system that will make sure that parts transfer and order completion is carried on smoothly. The first of its kind PDC centre was established in Sriperumbudur, Chennai, earlier this year and is the largest of all the planned PDCs slated to surface in near future. These measure taken up by Nissan will further strengthen the manufacturer’s after sales service experience in the country.
