Nissan India's New Managing Director- Arun Malhotra

Nissan India announced the appointment of Arun Malhotra as the new Managing Director for Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd, 100% subsidiary of Nissan Motor Co. Ltd, Japan. As the Managing Director of the Indian subsidiary, Malhotra will report to Guillaume Sicard, President – Nissan India Operations. He will work from Nissan’s Sales & Marketing headquarters in Mumbai. 

As the MD of Nissan Motor, Malhotra will be responsible for developing business strategies to maximize Nissan’s overall performance. He will also manage product introduction along with increasing the presence and accessibility of Nissan and Datsun brands through continuing network expansion. 

Guillaume Sicard, President – Nissan India Operations on the appointment of Arun Malhotra as the new Managing Director for Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd said, “Arun Malhotra has a consistent record of high performance and extensive experience in automotive sales, service, and marketing in India. Malhotra has a BE in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata and before joining Nissan, he was the chief of International Sales and Marketing for the automotive and farm sector of Mahindra & Mahindra. In the Automotive industry, Mr. Arun Malhotra has an experience of 30 years and has worked in different job profiles such as service, brand building, network expansion & development, sales, and customer centric initiatives in reputed automotive organizations including Bajaj Auto and Maruti Suzuki.
