Nissan has long managed to keep its Nissan Micra facelift and price-cut Micra out of the news. Not much has been revealed to the public about both these exciting changes so far. However, the cat is finally out of the bag as you can see from the images below. As can be seen, there are several changes to the exterior. These include a re-designed front bumper to indulge the changes to the headlamps which seem to have a different design and are larger. The fog lamp housing has also been changed to give more depth to the bumper.
The air dam also appears to be bigger in size which leads us to believe that there may be some changes to the grille as well, which unfortunately is covered. The C and D pillars are also blacked out. The rear is as yet not revealed but is expected to hold a few changes as well. Coming to the mechanical and engine changes, we do not expect any major change apart from a few new nuts and bolts thrown in.
We recently bought you the news that Nissan will be launching a price-cut version of the Micra. From the looks of it, the price cut version will quite possibly be introduced within this variant itself, perhaps with some cut-backs on features and options. This face-lifted version is expected to come out by first half of 2013. So for now, Nissan Micra fans will have to remain content with the Nissan Micra 'Primo' Ranbir Kapoor Special Edition. Cheers!
