Nissan opens its Field Quality Centre and Training Centre in India

Today, Nissan Motor India Private Ltd.(NMIPL) inagurated its Field Quality Centre (FQC) and the Traning Centre in manufacturing facility in Oragadam (Chennai). Nissan Brand is well renowned for its quality and FQC regularly keeps a check on the product quality and seeks to improve the product quality in the field The FQC is ambitious enough to understand the needs of customers and manufacture the vehicles for high level customer satisfaction. The trainging centre is build according to Nissan's global standards with high-tech facilities, Tools and Equipments and is aimed to follow the principle of “Fix it right the first”.

Mr. Kiminobu Tokuyama,Then MD and CEO of Nissan Motor India said that quality is the key factor in establishing the brand value. Tokuyama calls quality improvement as a never ending process and said that it is integrated in Nissan's product development and production process. He added that the FQC will provide Product, Process and Soft Skills trainings for dealership staff located in India and this new facility will give Nissan's customers a quality ownership experience.

The FQC is about 650 sq. Mts and is based on the principle that there is no limit for quality upgration and there are no easy routes for quality improvement. It will include activities like Field Quality Investigation and Analysis (FQIA) and Joint Analysis which will be amongst the Suppliers and Nissan's R & D, Production and Market Quality which inturn will resolve customer complaints immidieately.

Its training centre is about 1500 sq. Mts and has three large class rooms, a new model training facility, a conference room and 6 work bays and an executive area for body repairs and paint trainings. The training courses will be based on Nissan's training standards and will be according to Nissan's Indian business prospect.

Customer handling and Customer Relationship skills will be taught at the Training Centre. Training process will be imparted at for all the Nissan dealerships prior to there start of operations. Dealerships will be trained to showcase themselves as per Global Nissan Standards and skills will be continuously upgraded for better customer experience.
