Nissan, the Japanese automaker has revealed the 2014 e-NV200 ahead of its debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. It will arrive in the Japanese market during fiscal year 2014, and will later go on sale in other global markets. It will be the company's second all-electric model available globally, following the Nissan Leaf. Production of the e-NV200 will commence at Nissan's plant in Barcelona, Spain in mid-2014.
The e-NV200 produces zero CO2 emissions during operation, and it also provides functions that extend business potential in numerous situations. These include the power supply function in the luggage area for outdoor activities or emergency power, and the advanced telematics system. The front fascia of the e-NV200 seems to be inspired from the Nissan LEAF with rounder curves and blue-tinted headlights. A charging port is also added at the front.
The company hasn't revealed any mechanical details of the car, however the e-NV200 panel van concept featured the lithium-ion battery and an electric motor that churns out a maximum power output of 109bhp and 280Nm of peak torque.
