Nissan Sunny to hit Indian roads by this August or October

Nissan Motors, the Japanese auto major after getting good response from its hatch Nissan Micra in the Indian auto market is planing to launch a mid-range sedan Nissan Sunny in domestic car market. As we all known that this sedan is already rolling out on Chinese roads is soon to be launched in India likely by the month of August or October this year. There no conformation on the name of Indian version of this sedan but it is expected that it might followe Nissan Micra.

After Nissan canceled the launch of Nissan's MPV Nissan NV200 this year, it is being learnt that Nissan Sunny launch is on high priority. The Nissan NV200 was expected to compete with Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo but now its launch has been shifted to 2012. So now get ready to experience the new sedan which will be an answer to Maruti Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios and Volkswagen Vento.

There is no more conformation about the Indian version of Nissan Sunny but it is speculated to be the same as Chinese variant. The car is expected to enter both in diesel and petrol engine variants just like its competitors. The petrol version of the car would be packed with a 1.5 Liter, HR15DE petrol engine that will develop maximum power of 100+ Bhp while diesel engine variant might be engaged with a 1.5 DCi common rail engine which will develop top power of 85 Bhp.

The Nissan Sunny price in India is expected to be started from Rs. 6 lakh while high-end model would carry a price of more than Rs. 7 lakh. The car is expected with impressive interior and exterior appearance along with innovative features.
