Nissan will be introducing seven new products in the Indian car market, and one of them is the Datsun SUV, along with the hatchback and sedan. The company will discontinue the X-Trail and replace it with the Qashqai. Also, the government is planning to reconsider the taxing policy for SUVs under Rs 10 lakhs. This could give Ecosport a boost in terms of pricing. The Audi R8 V10 Plus was launched at the Buddh International Circuit, with Karun Chandhok lapping the fastest time on the track in a production car, beating Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG’s time, driven by Norman Simon. The Ecosport will be exported to some 40 odd countries from India.
