The Maharaja rose again. This time in the desert city of Dubai. The ultra luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce unveiled Maharaja Phantom Drophead Coupé created exclusively for customers in Dubai. The Rolls-Royce Maharaja Phantom Drophead Coupé is one-of-a-kind bespoke vehicle which was unveiled in an Indian-themed evening at the AGMC Rolls-Royce showroom.
With the Maharaja Phantom Drophead Coupé, Rolls-Royce pays homage to Indian Rajas and Maharajas as their relation with the company goes back to 100 years ago. The rich Indian Kings and Princes over a period of fifty years purchased over 840 unique Rolls-Royce motor cars. The Maharaja Phantom Drophead Coupé is inspired by the Golden Age of India and this eye-catchingly beautiful model is hand-crafted by specialists at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England.
Osman Abdelmoneim, General Manager at AGMC said, “Dubai is the only market in the world to receive this extraordinary, one-of-a-kind Bespoke Phantom Drophead Coupé, which has been two years in the making – not only an incredible coup for us, but also a strong reflection of the importance that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars places on this market.”
The exterior of Coupé features Carrara White colour, with a Peacock emblem, the national bird of India. The marque also gets an Emerald green as coachline while the hood is painted in deep green color. Inside the cabin, the car gets Crème Light leather with Emerald green accents. The headrests gets Emerald green and Cobalto blue along with a Peacock feather pattern in Seashell stitching on the side and central armrests.
