Polaris Off-road Ambulance Showcased in Delhi

Polaris Pvt. Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries INC has displayed its Ambulance, which is developed by Bafna Healthcare Pvt. Ltd on Range 6x6 800 in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) event at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi.

The Ranger 6x6 800 modified ambulances are built with unmatched traction & capacity and have 6 wheels drives available on demand with simple switch. This is the ideal vehicle to move heavy loads over the harshest terrain. With an engine capacity of 760cc, this vehicle is perfect to manoeuvre on treacherous terrains as well as narrow strips, to supply medical help and assistance to places of difficulty.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pankaj Dubey, MD, Polaris India said, “Polaris off-road ambulances are apt for supplying medical supervision in rural India and calamity stuck regions, as they are capable of clearing highways/roads, or handling fire in narrow streets. Polaris India recently donated 5 ATVs to calamity struck Uttarakhand to help in the rescue and relief operations and the vehicles were of considerable help. Security agencies and Para-military forces in worldwide are reportedly showing keen interest in such vehicles to fight Naxalism, Terrorism and Rescue Operations

Polaris also won order for its model RZR S 800 from the Gujarat Police, earlier this year. It was its first commercial order in India. The model is specifically designed to take on off-road terrain and holds tremendous potential to be a dependable and effective force multiplier.

Meanwhile, Polaris Industries Inc. was awarded a contract to provide MV850 ultra-light tactical vehicles to the German Army to take advantage of the ability to modify the Commercial Off-the-Shelf Technology (COTS) insert customer requirements and quickly deliver an end product that meets their needs.
