Porsche Cayenne Diesel to launch in India, limited to 19 units only

Porsche Cayenne Diesel car will be launched very soon in the Indian market by Precision Cars India. But it will bring only 19 cars in India. According Rod Wallace, Managing Director, Precision Cars India, “Porsche Cayenne Diesel is intended primarily for the European market but we saw a tremendous demand for the car from all over India. It has always been the aim of Precision Cars India to ensure our customers have the same options as any Porsche customer anywhere in the world.”  This model was launched at the Geneva Motors Show 2009.  The new Porsche Cayenne Diesel will carry the same exterior looks as of the petrol version. The diesel version of Porsche Cayenne which flaunts its supreme economy is powered by a 3-litre V6 engine and a six-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. The new diesel gives the driver a choice of standard or a sports set-up by way of the Sports Button. In the sports mode, the engine responds even more directly and impulsively. The diesel version comes with a price tag of Rs 6,49,50,000 which is inclusive of the import duties and taxes.
