Every year since 1994, Ward’s AutoWorld magazine has been releasing its highly acclaimed list of ’10 Best Engines’. Few years back the magazine started an entirely new segment which was called ‘Interior of the Year’ and just last year this segment received a new brandmarking and was baptized as ’10 Best Interiors’. Only the best of cockpits and cabin spaces across the globe manage to make it to this list. This year’s list is pretty eclectic in nature spanning across crossovers, hatchbacks and sedans; the list however, has experienced a mixed reception from the car aficionados.

The AutoWorld magazine from Ward reported that the list has been decided after a tough competition between the interiors of 40 new / significantly revamped vehicles out of which 13 belonged to ultra-luxury category. The magazine quoted that the major criteria followed while formulating the list included different factors like comfort, overall value, material used, aesthetics, styling, finish, design, ergonomics, safety and human machine interface. The list does not rank vehicles; it just lists down the 10 best interiors in the auto world by the Ward’s AutoWorld magazine.
The list of ’10 Best Interiors’ goes like:
Range Rover Evoque
Chevrolet Sonic
Volkswagen Beetle
Audi A7
Hyundai Azera
Dodge Dart
Infiniti JX35
Hyundai Accent
Mazda CX5
Chrysler 300 (Luxury)
