Volkswagen eyes to become the number one car manufacturer by 2020 and to fulfil its dream the auto giant is keen to carve a niche for tiself in the small car segment. The Volkswagen UP! could be ace card it hopes to deliver for a start. Though, nothing could be said about the Volkswgen Up! launch in India at the moment, the the Europe launch is much sooner, meant for this year itself, that too no later than the first quarter with the Volkswagen Up price of 10,325 Euros. The compact five door hatchback has the potential to deflate the balloon out of the air with the powerful impact it is set to create. The car is not only an eye-candy meant to be easy on eye but literally fraught with features and an amazing potential.

The unique City Brake System is unusal and rare quality to come in quite handy in the high traffic zones to bring the small car to an abrupt halt automatically realising the situation when the vehicle is moving under the 30 kmph speed limit. This is just an example for the long list of features it carries while the boot space is exemplary for such a compact hatchback. The 251L is the cargo space allotted in the car, which can be very well extended to 951 L with the foldable back seats to create enough room for dumping all the luggage in the car when the situation demands.

The only disappointment though is that the Indian consumers were left bereft of its much anticipated presence at the Indian Auto Expo otherwise we could as well had a good look at the first ultra-compact hatchback from Volkswagen which does mean something to the Indian car market as well.
