Renault claims to be a victim of Undercover Activities

The French car manufacturer, Renault today left the world astonished by claiming it to be suffering from some undercover activities which has resulted in leakage of its electric car information. Looking a the situation, the company has already fired three main executives associated with the project. These three executives are claimed to be indulged in the leak of company's electric car information. As per the reports submitted by media agencies, one of the three executives, was an active member in Renault's management committee.
After the technology developed by Renault was leaked out, the media thought the nation to be victim of economic war. The issue of information leak can be highly threatening for the French auto manufacturer as the company is investing a lot on its electric car project alongwith its partner and Japanese manufacturer Nissan.
Both Nissan and Renault are looking forward to the electric car segment for long run and both the companies are making huge investment in the project. And at this point of time, Renault making claim of information leak can be dangerous on its part. By the year 2014, the company was planning various electric car models in market which would help meet the future demand of environment friendly cars. Nissan has already taken a step forward and has launched its e-car in various parts of the globe.
The alliance between Nissan and Renault will involve an investment of euro 4 billion which will result in the manufacturing of five lakh cars for the years to come.
The leak of company's technological information has raised alarms in Renault stable and officials are going to take further serious steps to reach the roots of this issue. Renault electric car project involves big investment from the company and now when it is at stake, company does not wish to leave any stone unturned to make it a success.
