Renault Duster uncovered, launch expected by Diwali

After a smashing performance on the first day of the Auto Expo, by different OEMs it is Renault’s chance to unveil the compact Duster SUV after the Renault Pulse launch. Amidst the cheering crowd the compact Duster SUV is unveiled by K.Nakamura, the Executive Vice-President of Renault SAS and Mr. Marc Nassif, the MD of Renault India.

The compact Duster SUV is again another product from Renault India which will be locally produced for the Indian and the market abroad.

Built on the phased out Renault Logan platform there are ocean of similarities between the two models.

However, the Renault’s effort to proffer a much appealing look is clearly evident from the Renault Duster SUV which is all macho-looking despite its compact size.

Renault’s strategy for India has been crystal clear ever from the start regarding the indisposable diesel engine option.

The 1.5 L diesel engine that had always powered the Logan sedan can be found in the Duster too. As per the French car manufacturer’s plans, the Indian car market can only see the Duster launch happening towards the Diwali time.

And we have already have an idea how the Ford EcoSport and the Maruti XA Alpha concept would look like. Considering the Rs 7- Rs 9 lakh for the Ford EcoSport price, Renault Duster could be the true competitor in every aspect going forward.

Renault Pulse can also be seen gloriously sitting next to Duster after the recent launch.
