Renault made its entry as a solo player just last year and already the car manufacturer seems to hatch sky high plans for the Indian car market. After Renault Pulse hatchback launch at the Auto Expo 2012, and a proud display of the Renault Duster SUV, the auto major reveals that their growth plans for the year 2012 does not end here. There is another new model to add, by which Renault India most probably might be pointing to an entry-level sedan to the list taking the Renault India line-up to five cars by the year end.

The home grown Renault Duster SUV is however slated for a Diwali launch, although the next Renault product is still shrouded in mystery. Renault global sales superseded many despite the Eurozone crises which managed to garner 3.6% overall growth and 19.2% outside Europe making India as one of the key markets for growth. Renault India is determined to reposition its stance in the country depending largely on its strength, the diesel engine technology. The French manufacturer intends to include the diesel variant in each and every model which is more than evident with the launch of Pulse in diesel avatar only and the presence of diesel variant in each model launched till date.

The first two products from the French car manufacturer by the virtue of CBU imports attract heavy pricing sitting far high in the premium segment of the car market. Although the future seems to brighten up starting with the locally produced Renault Pulse hatchback and Renault Duster SUV playing big on cross platform sharing with the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan. This leads to a slightest shred of doubt which is difficult to supress, that could the third product be the proposed Nissan Sunny version from Renault? Stay in touch, for the next news from us could be the confirmation straight from the horse’s mouth.
