Renault India Introduces Mobile Showrooms, Passion On Wheels

In three months the Renault ‘Passion on Wheels’ will visit around 300 markets across India.
Renault is one of the fastest growing automakers in the Indian market. Currently, Renault has 270 sales outlets and 230 service outlets across the country. However, the automaker is expanding aggressively, and its sales outlets will number 320 by the end of this year. Moreover, Renault has now introduced a mobile showroom called ‘Passion on Wheels’. It is a fully functional mobile showroom primarily targeted at customers in tier II and tier III markets across India.
Passion on Wheels is being conducted in association with Renault dealer partners, and the mobile showrooms will stay for one to two days in each targeted city. The mobile showroom will have the entire range of Renault products on display, provide test drive facility of all Renault vehicles, and will also take product-related enquiries and new bookings. Apart from these, it will also conduct several activities to engage with its customers. The Renault ‘Passion on Wheels’ will visit around 300 locations across India and will take three months to do so.
Currently, Renault has five cars on offer in India: The Duster, Kwid, Scala, Pulse and the Lodgy. Among these, the little Kwid and the Duster are doing wonders for the French automaker and are the main reason for its increasing market share. The Kwid is known for its best in class features like touchscreen infotainment system and a massive boot of 300 litres. It comes with two petrol engine options of 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre, both coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission. Moreover, the 1.0-litre variant is also available with a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
The Duster, on the other hand, provides spacious interiors and is the only car in its segment to offer an all-wheel drive powertrain.
