Renault to present Duster facelift at Frankfurt Motor Show

Renault's subsidiary Dacia has managed to give Duster a mid-life makeover for the European left hand drive markets. The updated Duster will be presented at the forthcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. The popular Dacia Duster (also known as Renault Duster) was launched in the global market in 2010, and in India the SUV made its debut in July 2012. The facelifted Dacia Duster has been spotted number of times and is expected to get upgrades on both inside and out.

The Dacia Duster facelift retains the design features largely responsible for its success all over the world, the new model sports more emphatic 4x4 design cues. The front fascia of the facelifted model gets a redesigned grille, two chrome-plated strips, a new air intake and new double-optic headlights with daytime running lights. The upgrades underscore the car’s on-road stance and robust, “go-anywhere” character.

David Durand, head of styling for the entry range said, “We built on the appeal of the original model and its proportions. Identity components such as the grille have been modernised. We have also strengthened the 4x4 cues of the vehicle, while keeping all its useful features. New Duster gets an even stronger character while retaining its initial DNA”. The facelifted Dacia Duster sports new roof bars, new 16-inch "Dark Metal" alloy wheels and Mud and Snow Tyres, which further enhances the sporty characteristics of the sports utility vehicle. The rear end of the new Duster features a new lights echo, chrome-plated tail pipe and new badging.
