Scoop: Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Launch on 31st April, XA Alpha Soon

Maruti Suzuki is all set to stir the market once again with its magnificent premium saloon Ciaz on 31st April, 2014. An industry source close to the development, fed us that the car will have a very competitive price range. Before we even set to publish the news, some of the dealers have already started taking bookings with a down payment of just Rs 11! The source in the industry mentioned that the Ciaz won't be a complete replacement of SX4 as it is expected to be priced around Rs 4.75 lakh for base petrol and Rs 5.5 lakh for the base diesel. 

Unveiled at Auto Expo, the car features very elegant exterior design along with the many first in class gizmos. The car will be put up against the likes of Honda City and Hyundai Fluidic Verna but in a very economical way.

Under the hood, the new 1.6-litre MJD engine might do all the work of power development, while for the petrol version, the company is working on a whole new K series engine with high performance capability.
