Shah Rukh Khan to Participate in Hyundai's 'Safe Move' Campaign

After Toyota Kirloskar, Hyundai Motor India yesterday launched a campaign for traffic safety in association with the ministry of road transport and highways. Named as ‘Safe Move’, the traffic safety campaign is aimed at encouraging right practices of road safety among children and is one of the four pillars of carmaker’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. Other three are Green Move, Happy Move and Easy Move.
Major attraction will be the participation of Superstar Shah Rukh Khan who is Hyundai’s brand ambassador. Aiming mostly school children, the campaign will be hitting 40 schools in five cities namely Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad and will have online as well as offline channels. Hyundai has also made a website called ‘Kids Hyundai’ especially for children. The website will host news, animation episodes, car production related content and will allows users to register for various programs under the initiative. To make the sessions more interactive, a board game using flash cards (TruDO) will be used.
Expressing pleasure over the launch, Mr Y K Koo, Managing Director for Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “Hyundai is a responsible car manufacturer and it is our responsibility to apprise children about the importance of traffic safety for a better future. Children are the future of a nation and this campaign is an effort to reach out to children to educate them with best practices of the traffic safety."
