Skoda Auto India?s November 2010 sales up by 29%

Skoda Auto, Czech Republic auto maker is an established car brand globally. In India Skoda Auto India which is a wholly owned enterprise of Skoda Auto recorded a growth of 29 per cent in November 2010 over its last year's sale in the same period. The company sold 1841 units in 2010 November as against last year's sales of 1425 cars in November. Skoda Auto had a successful November in terms of sales as 1841 units were sold compared to last month's festive sale of 1694 units in October 2010. Skoda Auto success wagon can be credited to its market winning cars which are true exemple of sophisticated technology and advanced features. The company rules the domestic auto market with Skoda Fabia, Skoda Yeti, Skoda New Laura and Skoda Superb. Thomas Kuehl, the Director and Board Member, Sales and Marketing, was elated on the achievement and said that, the company is happy with Skoda Auto's growth chart while it is entering new arenas. He also added that, the Skoda family is delighted with the launch of new cars, the New Skoda Fabia and Skoda Yeti. Both the cars are receiving great response from the Indian auto market. The company is excited with the new addition in the range of cars and will come up with better products for its customers. Ashutosh Dixit, the Senior General Manager of sales and Marketing, in India for SkodaAuto said that, the accelerated sales graph is the result of the growth and expansion plan of the company in India. SkodaAuto in India has spread its dealership network in India which has helped in catering to the demands for their cars. At present, the company is keenly interested in expanding the network to 66 dealership outlets and as many as 7 boutique showrooms. Recently, the first boutique showroom was inaugurated in Gujarat Torque Automotive Pvt. Ltd. SkodaAuto is touching milestones as recently the auto giant rolled out the 1,00,001 unit from its Aurangabad manufacturing facility. The 1,00,001 car was Skoda Yeti, the new SUV from Skoda's stable. To make the moment special H E Mr Miloslav Stasek, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in India and Mr Stackman, the Board Member for Sales and Marketing in SkodaAuto were present.
