Skoda brings Summer Check-Up Camp from 2nd May to 31st May 2014

SKODA Auto India in order to enhnace its after sales service, has organized a month long comprehensive summer check-up camp starting from 2nd May 2014 to 31st May 2014. The summer camp will offer service which can be availed by the customers at the authorized ŠKODA dealerships across the country. This detailed inspection includes 16 points checkup along with thorough examination of the AC, engine, steering, clutch, electrical system, tires & wheel rims, etc. The check-up will ensure the customers to enjoy trouble free long journeys in summer vaction. The automaker will also organize monsoon car care camps, pollution check-up camps in future which will further increase the driving experience of the users.

This summer check-up is a complimentary service provided to our customers in an attempt to provide greater value for owning a SKODA. Recently, the company launched the limited edition of Rapid as Rapid Utima. The saloon features projector headlamps, multi-functional steering wheel, audio player with Aux-in & USB input, alloy wheels, GPS navigation with camera, parking sensors, climatronic control, Ultima door sill moldings, bluetooth, dual front airbags, roof and side foil, Ultima floor mats to name a few. While under the hood it will keep on housing its tried and tested 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine and 1.6-litre TDI diesel engine. Both petrol and diesel engine muster a power of 103 bhp and peak torque of 153Nm.

Earlier in the month of February, company also launched the updated version of its flagship sedan, Superb at Rs 18.87 lakh (ex-showroom- Delhi) at the 2014 Auto Expo. The premium saloon features a complete exterior and interior upgrades. Inside the cabin, the car sports a push button start and a new three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel and is also equipped with features such as Adaptive Front Light System, Hill Hold Control, eight airbags, three-point safety belts and height-adjustable headrests. While power is developed by the 1.8-litre TSI petrol and the 2.0-litre TDI diesel. The petrol engine develops a power output of 158bhp, while the oil burner produces 138bhp.
