Skoda reveals its open top Skoda Fabia

Czech car maker Skoda is a well-known name in the global car market, and it recently revealed its awesome rally car, Skoda Fabia vRS S2000. This car was introduced at the GTI-Treffen tuning event by Volkswagen group in Worthersee, Germany. This new rally Skoda Fabia has a very unique design concept which was particularly made for the yearly show. According to reports the CEO of Skoda, Mr. Winfried Vahland, has expressed that this exquisite roadster was designed to show the public as well as the critics that what Skoda can do with its regular Fabia car.

The designers of this new Skoda Fabia were asked to design a unique and exquisite roadster that focuses mainly on enjoyable sports drive along with vitality. New Skoda Fabia is powered by a 2.0 L of petrol engine, which has 4 cylinders. This petrol engine keeps the capacity of churning out more than 200 bhp of power, which is definitely impressive.  The total weight of the car is around 1200 kg and has the wide wheel base of 120mm that provides larger ground clearance.

The unique design of the new Skoda Fabia comes with shallow-raked windscreen. Besides, it also has a seating arrangement for four passengers. Fabia vRS S2000 was finished with green color. Other design highlights comprises of fresh bonnet scoops accompanied with additional cooling, flared wheel curves that comes with cooling ducts and the 18 inch wide alloy wheels, side skirts and a back diffuser.

As far as the interiors of the Skoda Fabia vRS are concerned, the dashboard in the car is spruced with carbon fire. The material that has been used for doors inserts is very impressive. The green-pipes super cool, sports container seats are made for the front passengers, which come with 4 point harnesses.  The new Skoda Fabia price has not been revealed yet. Apart from the new Skoda Fabia, Skoda has introduced many new models, which are surely impressive. These models include Skoda Rapid and Skoda New Laura.

Whitsun sees the Porsche Museum opening exclusively for its visitors with the current special exhibition "Ferdinand Porsche - Pioneer of the Hybrid Drive" running until Whit Monday, 13 June 2011. The Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 am to 6 pm. Entry costs € 8, € 4 for concessions. Children under the age of 14 go free when accompanied by an adult.
