Skoda to launch Yeti model in India by June 2010

Skoda Auto a subsidiary of Germany Volkswagen Group is planning to launch the much awaited Skoda Yeti model in India by June this year. The model was showcase at Delhi Auto Expo held last month in Pragati Maidan from %th to 11 th January. According to company initially the model will be launched in two variants and after analyzing the response of the Indian customers the company may launch some more variants of Skoda Yeti in India. The Skoda Yeti model will be launched in the price range of Rs 13 to 15 lakh.

On the other hand Skoda's new small car in India is expected to be launched by the end of year 2012. The small car from Skoda is expected to be in the price range of Rs 4 to Rs 5 lakh and it is expected to be placed one segment billow company' existing small car model Skoda Fabia. Skoda Auto also showcased the new variant of Skoda Fabia named as Fabia Greenline. Skoda Laura RS and Skoda Superb Combi models are also expected to be launched in India soon.

Besides this Skoda's small car will be competing with many upcoming popular small cars like Ford Figo and Volkswagen Polo in India. Tata Aria a crossover model is also expected to be launched in India by month of April this year.
