Skoda Yeti ready to launch in India by June 10

Skoda India, a subsidiary of Volkswagen, is all set to launch its much awaited SUV Skoda Yeti in India by June this year. The Skoda Yeti model will possibly be launched in the price range of Rs 12 to Rs 14 lakh.

The Skoda Yeti was showcased at Delhi Auto Expo in January where it attracted a large number of visitors and car enthusiasts. Though company hasn't disclosed any details regarding the technical specifications of the model, the model will possibly be equipped with all new generation features including safety features like multiple airbags, ABS (Antilock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution).

The company is also planning to launch an updated Skoda Fabia in Indian market. The updated version will possibly be launched with some up-gradation in interiors as well as in exteriors. While the wheels are expected to be coming with alloy option, the vertical lines on the body of the car will be changed to horizontal shape. Besides this it is expected that the interior of the car will be changed significantly with some cosmetic and stylish up gradations. Company showcased an upgraded version of Skoda Fabia at the Geneva Auto Show last week and it is expected that the same model will be launched in India in coming months.

Besides this some more global products of Skoda are expected to be launched in India in coming months including Skoda Laura RS and Skoda Superb Combi.
