Skoda Yeti SUV to unveil at 2010 Delhi Auto Expo

The compact SUV of Skoda is believed to be unveiled at 2010 Delhi Auto Expo. The SUV, was shown at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, is also learnt to be available at showroom in India by early 2010. These indications were provided by insiders. However, no official has confirmed the news. The SUV is expected to be priced around Rs 10 lakh. The car may be assembled at Skoda India’s Aurangabad plant at Maharashtra with its CKD kits expected to be imported from its parent company’s aforesaid plant. The Yeti is a compact (wheel base 2,578 mm), progressive and smart SUV based on ‘Simply Clever’ solutions, such as the VarioFlex rear seat system known from the Roomster. The vehicle's dimensions (length 4,223 mm, width 1,793 mm, height 1,691 mm) make it possible to easily enlarge the luggage compartment to as much as 1,760 litres.
