Skoda Yeti to be launched in 2nd half of 2010

Skoda Yeti, the long awaited SUV in India, will be launched in the second half of this year. The Yeti model was showcased at the Auto expo 2010 in New Delhi, where it received an overwhelming response from the automobile enthusiasts and visitors.
The all new Skoda Yeti will be launched with a 2.0L Diesel engine with manual transmission that will feature high-end state-of-the-art technology with comfort features and clever solutions from the Skoda design. Yeti will be one of the safest car in its segment, as it will be launched with all new generation features including features like 6 airbags, 4x4 Haldex drive, automatic off road program, corner function fog lamps , hill hold control, the 1st Vario-flex seating system.
The Skoda Yeti is already successful in the overseas markets like Europe and in India it has become quite popular among its potential customers. Equipped with 4WD, the Yeti is capable of providing a smooth and powerful drive, in off-roads journeys. While it is perfect vehicle for off-road drive, it can be efficiently used on long highway journeys.
After its launch in India, the model will be competing with popular cars in this segment like Tata Safari and Ford Endeavour.
