Skoda will soon introduce the Rapid into the current European portfolio from this autumn. The design language on the Rapid has been changed, and it gets the new Mission L design, that was revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. This new model will be unveiled at the Paris Auto Salon, later this year. The front end displays a new take on Skoda-typical design elements. The grille shows a finely drawn chrome frame and is formed by vertical slats. The headlight ensemble is grouped at the front of the Skoda Rapid to form a cloverleaf shape.
The Rapid will be available with five petrol and two diesel engine options in Europe. In dimensions it will be longer than the Indian version, by about 80mm. Albeit, the width remains the same. This Rapid will get Skoda’s new logo design as well, which will be seen on all the new upcoming cars from the Czech auto manufacturer.
When Skoda India decides to introduce the new logo on the Rapid, we could see this same design change on the existing version of our desi Rapid. Recently, the company introduced a new entry version its flagship model, the Superb.
