Mercedes Benz B Class luxury segment sedan class car is now being tested in Ahamadnagar, Maharashtra, the pictures of which are available on net. B Class Mercedes Benz will be the first car to offer an all new front-wheel drive platform called MFA platform. The new A Class cars also have the same platform and will be further used in the upcoming A-class based saloon and also in the compact SUV which will be soon launched. With the complete length of 4.3 meters the B Class Mercedes Benz looks like a part- large hatchback car and a part- mini MPV. The interior is so spacious that it can accommodate five passengers at a time without any hustle.
The dashboard features are very similar to that from the SLS AMG and the CLS which adds an ambience to the cabin of the Mercedes Benz. The B Class Mercedes Benz will have two engine options: 1.8-litre diesel and a new 1.6-litre turbo-petrol. The 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine will be powering the B-class cars of Mercedes Benz and the transmissions may include a seven-speed dual-clutch gear box. Looking at the Mercedes-Nissan alliance, it can be possible that the B Class Mercedes Benz comes with a 1.5-litre K9K engine which has been used in various models of Renault and Nissan. Mercedes Benz will price the B-class cars in such a way that they can be the most affordable Mercedes-Benz car in India. The costs will revolve around Rs. 18 lakhs.
