Tata Indica petrol variant gets a slight facelift

Tata Motors, India’s largest automobile company has rolled out a new variant Tata Indica V2 Xeta (petrol versio) renamed as Tata Indica e-Xeta. It seems that Tata Motors is very fond of the letter e. As most of the names of Tata cars includes the letter e. For example Tata Indigo e-CS, Tata Indica e-V2 and now the company has launched another car which also includes the letter E in it, viz;Indica e-Xeta V2. Earlier Tata Motors has already modified the diesel Tata Indica e-V2, which is the most fuel efficient car in the country as per Tata Motors. Now comapany has modified its petrol variant of Indica and named it as Tata Indica e-Xeta.

This refreshed variant e-Xeta has come affixed with a remote keyless entry, power windows, central locking, Bluetooth connectivity, alloy wheels, fog lamps and audio system with USB and Aux ports. At present in the Indian car market Tata Indica e-Xeta is available in four models from Tata Indica e-Xeta GL, Tata Indica e-Xeta GLE, Tata Indica e-Xeta GLLS, and Tata Indica e-Xeta GLX across petrol variant and two variants Tata Indica e-Xeta GLE and Tata Indica e-Xeta GLS across LPG version.

Tata Indica e-Xeta GL price (petrol) is around Rs 2,97,332 for variant, however Tata Indica e-Xeta GLX variant would cost Rs 3,65,771 apparently. The other variants like Tata Indica e-Xeta GLE and Tata Indica e-Xeta GLS are priced at Rs 3,21,550 and Rs 3,41,056 (ex-showroom Mumbai) respectively. Where as the LPG variants of Tata Indica e-Xeta like Tata Indica e-Xeta GLE and Tata Indica e-Xeta GLS carry a price tag of Rs 3,46,417 and Rs 3,60,496 (ex showroom price Mumbai) respectively.

Apart from this Tata is also working towards the facelift model of its popular hatchback Tata Indica Vista. Recently it was seen undergoing test drives on the Indian roads. Tata Motors includes Tata Nano, Tata Indica Vista, Tata Indigo, Tata Manza, Tata Sumo, Tata Spacio, Tata Safari and Tata Aria under its portfolio.
