An approaching year end could mean a lot of discounts in store. Country’s largest car manufacturer is also now up with the discounts tag on its car models. Tata Manza sedan offered in both petrol and diesel variants is announced with lucrative discounts of Rs 32,000 and Rs 34,000 respectively. Tata Manza fans better hurry up as the offer is valid only until November 30th. While the auto companies have been offering massive discounts on the petrol variants, Tata Motors has been generous enough to make the diesel car fans happy this time around.

With the lower Tata Manza price, the base Aqua petrol variant will be available at Rs 4,99,053 and the diesel variant will be offered at Rs 5,73,130 after the price discounts. The low price tags on the diesel variant makes them all the more attractive with the Tata Manza Aura diesel now sells at Rs 6,91,505 and the top variant costs Rs 7,19,191 against the Rs 7,53,191 price. The out and out cash discounts are not very common among the offers announced by the car manufacturers. They are deceptively attractive only visually. The exchange benefits can come in handy if an old car is exchanged for a new one. Similarly, the consumers are usually given an ample option on the car accessories to choose from. This is a red herring from the manufacturer to ramp up their sales.

The car sales have been unusually low during the past few months and have literally reached the rock bottom in the month of October. The festival offers did not seem to work the magic and failed to lift the spirits of the consumers. Now that the festive season has passed by without much to offer, the end of the year sales is the only hope to have their inventories cleared out from the sales outlets. Moreover, customers who are on a look out for their first ever car might find this an ideal time for his dream to realise. Most of the consumers usually defer their purchases to the upcoming year to have a strong resale value which counts from the year of purchase.
