Tata Merlin to replace Tata Safari 2011

Tata Safari will see its replacement which will be called Tata Merlin. Tata Merlin is Tata Safari's next generation which will be coming with addition of the dual mass flywheel to the present 2.2 DiCOR engine. The SUV is internally known as Safari 18 with be replacing Tata Safari 2011. The Tata Safari would still be sold in the market with few changes in the exteriors and interiors. But the new Tata Merlin would be enhanced in its features such as exterior upgrading with new lamps added, quality plastic will be used, air conditioning will be better, better handling and riding and upgraded gearbox. The gearbox, engine and alloy wheels which will be affixed in Merlin can be seen in the Tata Aria.
India's first crossover, Tata Aria is loaded with 2.2 litre, DiCOR (Direct Injection Common Rail) diesel engine. The car is expected to give excellent fuel efficiency and better riding pleasure. The MUV has the capacity to produce the maximum power of 140 bhp at 4000 rpm and maximum torque which is almost 320 Nm at 1700 to 2700 rpm.

The new crossover is expected to give tough competition to the likes Ford Endeavour, Toyota Innova, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda CR-V, Toyota Fortuner, Chevrolet Captiva and the newly launched Skoda Yeti.

All the version of the crossover are loaded with 4x4 Adapterra Torque-on-Demand System. The car is affixed with numerous advanced features which will make it the bestsellers in the SUV segment.
