Tata Vista

Tata Motors has officially pulled up the sale of Manza sedan and Vista hatchbacks. These cars have been removed from the company's line-up and no more feature on the official website. The Indian carmaker from sometime was considering to abandon some of its ageing cars. Previously, it stopped old Tata Nano and now following up, it has halted the production of Manza, Vista and Sumo Grande (Movus).

Manza and Vista, more or less, were modified versions of Tata Indica and Indigo respectively. They were even named as Indigo Manza and Indica Vista initially. This somehow backfired as both Tata Indica and Indigo were have known to be Taxi vehicles. People didn’t accept them as personal vehicles resulting in their failure in meeting company’s expectations. Although, the automaker tried to reconcile things by launching facelifts of these cars and, most importantly, removing ‘Indica’ and ‘Indigo’ from their respective names, it wasn’t enough to reassure the customer about the product quality.

Tata Zica

Company had stopped production of these cars in July this year as per a report of Society of Indian Automobile Manufactures (SIAM). Now Tata is solely dependent on Indica and Indigo for sales in A-segment hatchback and compact sedans. These cars will be available only for commercial/Taxi purpose. Tata is now focusing on its upcoming Zica, which has already created a lot of fuss with its spectacular looks, powerful engines and comprehensive set of features.
