Tata Motors to sell Nano Online

Few months back, India's leading automaker Tata Motors announced an interesting way to buy Nano -"Swipe your Card and buy a Nano". Now, the company is trying to make the purchasing of the Nano as simple as ordering any other electronic good. Tata Motors is aiming to sell the world's most affordable small car Nano via Internet, keeping in mind the increasing usage of Internet.

The company believes that this strategy will further enhance the sales of its new Tata Nano, as the market is facing a slowdown. "We have some interesting instances where parents have bought the Nano for their sons/daughters. This is a very interesting trend," said Ranjit Yadav, president (passenger vehicle business unit), Tata Motors.

What makes it more interesting, the customers are not bound to make the full payment for the car, they can pay the booking amount of the Nano. Soon after the online transaction, the car will be delivered at the customers door step or he/she can get vehicle at their nearest Tata Motor dealership.

Tata Motors has recently refreshed the Nano, which is also India's most fuel efficient petrol car. Moreover, the company has also previewed the CNG version of Nano at its Horizonext 2013 called the Tata Nano emax CNG. With Tata Nano CNG, the consumers will also have the option to toggle between the CNG and petrol driving modes.
