Tata Nano likely to be exported, wins award for best design 2010

Tata Nano, may not have shown accelerating sales graph in the Indian auto market in November sales but the Indian auto giant is delighted with various global auto markets showing keen interest in the small car. The response of various countries on the mini wonder has motivated Tata motors to bring customers clinics in different auto markets. Various car brands and non- automotive firms have proposed the creators, Tata Motors for the production licence for the People's Car Tata Nano. The mini wonder from Tata's pavilion has created excitement in South East Asian, South American, West Asia and African Countries. It is also being learned that, the state heads of these countries have held conversations with Tata Motors to start the production unit for Tata Nano. Tata Motors is currently working on a new Tata Nano car model especially designed for the US and European auto market. The top-end car model will be more dearer than the ones sold in the domestic auto sector, to come in 2011 and 2012.

Tata Motors spokesperson said that, As far as the exports of Tata Nano are concerned, the company is concentrating in the Indian auto market. Tata Nano is aware of its popularity in the overseas auto market. He added that, when the company unfolded the Tata Nano in January 2008, it was keen to spreading the mini wonder in various other auto markets as well. Currently, the company has begin with customer clinics in various countries. Apart from Tata Nano enjoying a fame in overseas auto market, it has another reason to rejoice as it has received an award for good design 2010 from Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design with the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies under the category of transportation. Being a small car it is extremely roomy from inside.

Well Tata Motors is sure to get boost with this prestigious award looking at the fast dwindling sales of Tata Nano at the homeground. But Tata Nano is again planing to lure the Indian buyers with various attractive offers on the Peoples Car. The company has introduced a scheme in which it will provide loan upto 90 per cent on low interest rates. It is also offering to additional safety features in the small cars which has already been rolled out in the Indian auto market. The guarantee on the small car has also been increased to four years or 60,000 km whichever comes first. Since August 2010, the company has also started the open sales for the mini car and is available in 12 states currently. The company will begin with open sales by March 2011. The Indian car markers are keen to again spread the magic of its wonder car with these luring offers.
