Tata Nano to soon hit auto market in Taiwan

Tata Nano will soon to step out of India, TECO Group in Taiwan is looking forward to unveil the world's cheapest car Tata Nano in the Taiwan auto market. Huang Mao-husing, Honorary Chairman of the TECO Group, few days back introduced Tata Nano in Taipei in a press conference. He revealed that here the company plans to be Tata Nano's official or supply the Indian car makers with components. He also looking forward to launch an electric car based on Tata Nano. It is being anticipated that if the Taiwan company TECO launches Tata Nano, the mini wonder in their country it will be affixed with few changes such as added air bags, and is expected to be launched with a price tag of 250,000 Taiwan dollars (6,000 US dollars).
Tata Nano hit the Indian shores in March 2009 and currently comes with a price tag of Rs 1,15,000 in India. The people of Taiwan posted a mixed reaction in response of TECO Group's introducing Tata Nano, the natives there are looking forward to the world's cheapest car. One of the Taiwan natives excited about the launch of Tata Nano said that people should not get tensed about the safety of the new small car as it is being introduced by TECO and will come with added safety features. He also said that it will be safer than the Indian car model of Tata Nano.
He concluded that the Tata Nano's potential customers will be those who are looking forward to switch from their motorbikes to cars but can't afford an expensive car. Recently it was also being reported that Tata Motors is solving its estranged ties with Singur residents. The Indian auto company has been invited to speak to the officials about setting up the plant on the already acquired land. Almost two year ago, Tata Motors shifted its manufacturing unit of Tata Nano from Singur, West Bengal to Sanand Gujarat.
