Key Takeaways
-
The Tata Nexon, once again, took the top spot with nearly 15,000 units sold in November 2023. That said, its MoM (month-on-month) figure did drop by over 11.50 percent but it still had the best market share of almost 28 percent. This number also includes the sales figures of the new Tata Nexon EV.
-
With total sales of nearly 14,000 units, the Maruti Brezza came a close second. Its year-on-year (YoY) market share went up by almost five percent.
-
The Hyundai Venue was the only other SUV on the list to cross the 10,000-unit sales mark. It had a market share of close to 21 percent. This figure also consists of the sales number of the Hyundai Venue N Line, the sportier version of the same.
-
Its sibling, the Kia Sonet, took the next spot with almost 6,500 units sold. The Kia SUV’s MoM number went down by a small margin but it still had a market share of 12 percent.
-
With over 4,500 units dispatched, the Mahindra XUV300 trailed the Kia Sonet. Its YoY market share dipped by close to two percent.
-
Among the Nissan Magnite-Renault Kiger duo, it was only the former that managed to go beyond the 1,000-unit sales mark. The Kiger, on the other hand, had total sales of 500-odd units with a market share of less than one percent.
