Tata Motors, the Indian auto major is all set to launch the much awaited up-market carrier, the double door Tata Xenon Pick-up on 3rd September. The Xenon Pick-up has been said to be a converted pick-up version of Tata Xenon double cab pick-up, which is a famous off-roading vehicle. If rumours are to believed, this might replace Tata 207 in India, as it isn't doing that well at the moment. The closest competitor of the Xenon Pick-up will be Mahindra Genio.

Mercedes to Assemble SUVs in India by Next Year
Mercedes-Benz has recently announced that they are planning to assemble their sports utility vehicles, M and GL-Class in India by next year. Except India, Thailand and Indonesia will be the two other markets where the SUVs will be assembled locally. Speaking on the same, the company official said, “The necessary preparations at the selected three production sites in India, Thailand and Indonesia are proceeding full steam ahead.
